How to assign mailboxes and signatures to a campaign in FirstSales

Select which email accounts send a campaign and control the signature per sender, so mail rotates across your verified mailboxes.

6 min read·Intermediate·6 steps
  1. 1

Open the Email Scheduler → Senders tab

In the campaign builder, click the Email Scheduler step, then the Senders tab. This is where you choose which mailboxes send this campaign.

  2. 2

    Select sending accounts

The Email Accounts header shows “(X/Y selected)” with a required marker — check the verified email accounts you want to send from. Only accounts already verified as an email connector appear here, each marked with a green check.

  3. 3

Add an account if none are listed

If the list is empty, click Add email account to open the inline creation modal, or connect a mailbox first through your connector settings. Each account shows its email, an optional display name, and a provider label — Google, Microsoft, or SMTP/IMAP.

  4. 4

    Understand rotation

There's no separate rotation switch. Selecting more than one mailbox is the rotation pool — FirstSales spreads sends across every selected account automatically.

  5. 5

    Control the signature per sender

For each selected account, a row lets you toggle Append signature. Leaving it unset shows “(connector default)” and uses that mailbox's own default signature; an explicit override here wins for this campaign only.

  6. 6

    Save

The sender pool and signature choices you set apply to every email step in the campaign.

Pro tips

Hard-won shortcuts that keep warm-up on track.

1

More mailboxes = safer volume

Spreading sends across more mailboxes means no single inbox carries the full load — pair with per-mailbox sending limits.

2

Only verified accounts show up

If a mailbox is missing from the Senders list, it isn't verified yet or isn't an email connector — verify or reconnect it first.

3

Signature override is per campaign

Leave Append signature on “connector default” unless this specific campaign needs a different signature from the mailbox's usual one.

4

Rotation is the sender list

You don't toggle rotation on — you add mailboxes. The accounts you select are the entire rotation pool.

Frequently asked questions

How does FirstSales rotate between my mailboxes?

By multi-select — every account you check in the Senders tab becomes part of the rotation pool. There's no separate rotation toggle.

Why isn't my mailbox in the senders list?

Only verified email connectors appear. If a mailbox is missing, verify or reconnect it first.

How many mailboxes can I assign to one campaign?

As many verified email accounts as you select — at least one is required, shown by the required marker next to Email Accounts.

What does “Append signature (connector default)” mean?

It means no override is set for this campaign, so the mailbox's own default signature setting applies.

Does turning off the signature here change my mailbox's default?

No — the toggle is a campaign-level override. It doesn't change the connector's own default signature setting.

Do I have to pick a sender?

Yes — at least one verified sending account is required before the step is valid.

Can different campaigns use different signatures from the same mailbox?

Yes — the signature override is set per campaign, so the same mailbox can sign differently across campaigns.
