Workspace-scoped team invites

Invite teammates to specific workspaces, or all of them, and adjust their access later without re-inviting.

Inviting a teammate to your FirstSales account used to mean giving them access to everything — every workspace, every campaign, every piece of contact data you've ever imported. For solo operators that was fine. For any team running separate workspaces per client, market, or product line, it was a blunt instrument that forced you to choose between collaboration and clean separation. Workspace-scoped invites fix that.

Invite with precision

When you invite a teammate you can now choose exactly which workspaces they get access to, or grant all workspaces at once. Duplicate invites are caught before they're sent, so a busy onboarding day doesn't result in the same person getting two invitation emails.

How to use it

  1. Go to Settings → Team and click Invite.
  2. Enter one or more emails — use Add another to batch multiple invites at once.
  3. Under Workspace access, pick All workspaces or Specific workspaces and select the subset that person needs.
  4. Send — invitees get a single link that handles sign-in or sign-up (including the OTP step) inline, landing them in the right workspace without any detours or secondary setup screens.

Why it matters for outreach teams

Most sales teams doing serious cold outreach run separate workspaces to keep campaigns cleanly partitioned. A freelancer helping with one client's outreach shouldn't see another client's contact list. A new SDR hired to own one product line shouldn't have edit access to campaigns they have nothing to do with. Getting that separation right from the day someone joins is far easier than trying to untangle it later.

Workspace-scoped invites make clean separation the default, not an afterthought. The right people land in the right workspaces, see the campaigns that belong to them, and nothing more. Onboarding someone new stops being an exercise in damage control.

The all-in-one sign-in flow also removes a friction point that used to slow down new teammates. Instead of receiving an invitation, creating an account, verifying an email, and then finding their way to the right workspace, they click one link and land ready to work. Less setup time means faster time to first send.

Adjusting access later

You don't need to remove and re-invite someone to change their scope. Head to Settings → Team → Members, click a member's workspace badge, and add or revoke access workspace by workspace. Role changes work the same way — inline, no re-invite required.

That combination means team structure can evolve alongside your outreach strategy without any administrative overhead slowing you down. When a teammate's scope changes — a new workspace spins up, a client relationship ends, someone moves to a different campaign set — you adjust their access in seconds and move on.
