Admins can now manage billing
Organization admins can now view and manage the full Billing section — Overview, Usage, Payments, and Plan — not just the owner.
Billing shouldn't be a single-person bottleneck. Until now, only an organization's owner could open the full Billing section — which meant the person who needed to top up credits before a big send, check usage, or update a plan often had to wait on someone else. Admins now have full billing access.
What changed
The Billing section and all of its tabs — Overview, Usage, Payments, and Plan — are now available to organization admins, not just the owner. Admins can both see billing and act on it: review credit usage, manage payment methods, top up credits, and change the subscription plan. The two things that remain owner-only are transferring ownership of the organization and deleting it — actions that should stay with a single accountable person.
What admins can now do
- Overview — see the credit balance, runway, and plan status at a glance.
- Usage — review consumption across workspaces and, now, down to each campaign.
- Payments — view payment and top-up history and manage payment methods.
- Plan — upgrade, downgrade, top up credits, or adjust auto-renewal.
How to use it
If you're an admin, open Billing from the sidebar — every tab is now available. If you manage a team and want someone to handle billing without making them the owner, set their role to admin under Settings → Team → Members and the Billing section opens for them immediately, with no re-invite or re-login required.
Why it matters
For a growing outreach team, billing is operational, not ceremonial. Credits run low right before the campaign you most want to send; a card expires the week a renewal is due; a finance teammate needs the payment history to close the books. Routing every one of those through a single owner adds delay at exactly the moments that are time-sensitive. Giving admins billing access removes that bottleneck while keeping the truly irreversible actions — ownership transfer and deletion — protected.
Existing organizations pick this up automatically. The admin role's permissions update in place, so anyone already an admin gains billing access without you re-inviting them or changing their role.
What you should do
Nothing, if your admins should manage billing — they already can. If you'd rather keep billing limited, remember that role assignment is the control: only members you set as admin or owner can reach the Billing section, and everyday members still cannot.
