# How to add CC and BCC to campaign emails in FirstSales

Add CC and BCC addresses that are copied on every email a campaign sends.

4 min read·Beginner·6 steps

1. 1
## Open the Email Scheduler → Recipients tab
In the campaign builder, click the **Email Scheduler** step, then the **Recipients** tab. Two chip inputs live here: **CC Addresses** and **BCC Addresses**.

2. 2
## Add CC addresses
Type an email into **CC Addresses** and press **Enter** or type a comma to add it as a chip. You can add up to **10** CC addresses.
3. 3
## Add BCC addresses
Use the same pattern in **BCC Addresses**, up to **5** addresses. BCC is useful for silently archiving a copy, e.g. to a CRM drop address, without recipients seeing it.
4. 4
## Fix rejected entries
An invalid email shows **“Invalid email address”**, a repeat entry shows **“Already added”**, and going over the cap shows a max-addresses message. At the limit, the field shows **“Limit reached (N/N)”**.
5. 5
## Know it applies to every send
CC and BCC recipients are copied on **every** email the campaign sends, not just the first — that includes follow-up steps.
6. 6
## Leave blank if unused
Both fields are optional. Leave them empty if you don't need anyone copied.

## Pro tips

Hard-won shortcuts that keep warm-up on track.

1

### BCC a CRM inbox to auto-log replies context

A silent copy lands in your CRM's drop address without recipients ever seeing it in the headers.

2

### Keep CC tiny

Every visible CC recipient can see everyone else on the CC line — 1–2 people keeps it professional.

3

### Enter, comma, or click away all add the chip

There's no separate save button for the chip itself — committing the address is instant.

4

### CC/BCC ride every step

Remember they hit follow-up emails too, not just the opener — don't set a CC you only want on the first message.

## Frequently asked questions

How many CC and BCC addresses can I add?

Up to **10** CC addresses and up to **5** BCC addresses.

Do CC/BCC apply to follow-up emails too?

Yes — they're copied on every email the campaign sends, including all follow-up steps.

Why won't my address add?

It's either an invalid email format, a duplicate you already added, or the field is already at its limit.

Is CC/BCC required?

No — both fields are optional and can be left empty.

Can recipients see the BCC list?

No — that's the point of BCC. Recipients never see who else was blind-copied.

How do I remove an address?

Click the x on its chip in the CC Addresses or BCC Addresses field.
