# Turn your email signature on or off per campaign

Switch a sender's email signature on or off for a single campaign — right inside the Sender Accounts picker — without changing your connector's default. Works in both Template and AI Autopilot.

Your signature shouldn't be all-or-nothing. A polished sign-off builds trust in a warm, relationship-driven sequence — and it often works against you in a short cold opener, where every extra line is one more reason a prospect skims past your ask before reading it. Until now, your email signature was configured once per sending account and applied everywhere that account was used. Now you decide per campaign, without touching the connector.

## What's new

Inside a campaign's **Sender Accounts** picker — available under campaign Settings and in the Email Scheduler step — every selected sender now has an **Append signature** toggle alongside it. Flip it on or off for that campaign, and only that campaign. Your connector's default remains exactly as it was for every other campaign that account is part of.

Per-campaign signature toggle in the Sender Accounts picker

## How the toggle works

* **Leave it untouched** and the sender inherits its connector default — the label shows _(connector default)_ so you always know where the setting is coming from and can trace it back if something looks unexpected.
* **Flip it** and you set a campaign-level override that takes precedence: turn the signature off for a lean cold outreach campaign while it stays on for every nurture and follow-up sequence, or force it on for one high-touch campaign without editing the account settings.
* The override applies **per sender**, so a campaign running from several inboxes can mix and match — one sender includes a signature, another doesn't, based on what makes sense for how each account is being used.

The logic is simple: an explicit campaign-level toggle wins; otherwise the connector default applies. Nothing changes for your existing campaigns unless you touch the switch.

## Where it applies

The control works in both **Template** and **AI Autopilot** campaigns. It drives the same signature engine used everywhere else in FirstSales, so the toggle is not a preview — what it shows is exactly what lands in the recipient's inbox.

## Why it matters for cold outreach

Cold-email reply rates are sensitive to length and perceived formality. A first-touch email is not a newsletter — it should feel like a note from a real person, not a formatted communication from a sales department. A long signature with a title, company logo, LinkedIn link, and phone number signals automation and adds visual weight that draws the eye down before the prospect has finished reading your message.

Dropping the signature on first-touch campaigns reduces that friction. Keeping it on nurture campaigns and later-stage sequences, where professionalism and contact details matter, preserves its value in the contexts where it actually helps. You have always had both needs simultaneously; now you can address them both without compromise or workaround.

For teams running multiple campaigns across different segments, personas, or funnel stages, this also means one fewer reason to create duplicate sending accounts — the same connector can behave differently across campaigns based solely on the toggle.

## What you should do

Open any campaign you want to adjust, go to **Sender Accounts** in Settings or the Email Scheduler step, and review the toggle for each sender. If a campaign should go out without signatures, flip it off there. Your connector default is unchanged and all other campaigns are unaffected.
