# Contact 360 and Deal 360: every conversation in one place

Open any contact or deal and see the whole story: full email threads, a live activity timeline, who's involved, and enrichment details. Reply or log a call without leaving the page.

A contact record that only shows a name and an email address makes you do the remembering. What did we last talk about? Did they open the follow-up? Who on my team touched this? With the new CRM, every contact and every deal gets a single page that answers those questions for you, and lets you act on them without bouncing between screens.

## What changed

### Contact 360

Open a contact from the Contacts list and you get a full page organized into tabs: Overview, Emails, Files, Activities, and Changelog, with the important context laid out across a three-column view.

The activity timeline is the heart of it. It now weaves your outreach engagement directly into the feed: email sends, the first open, the first click, replies, bounces, and unsubscribes show up alongside the calls and notes you log by hand. Most of those engagement moments simply weren't visible on the contact before. Now the timeline is a real, chronological record of everything that has passed between you.

The Emails tab shows every thread you've had with that contact. Open one to read the full conversation and reply right there. The composer slides up over the contact page instead of throwing you into a separate inbox, so you never lose your place. You can also start a brand-new email to the contact from the same tab. The composer even shows a live size readout of your message as you write.

Down the left rail, an enrichment panel surfaces what we know about the person and their company, along with where each detail came from and when, so you can tell an enriched fact from something you typed. It only appears when there's enrichment to show, so it never clutters a sparse contact.

Logging is a first-class action, not a chore buried in a form. Quick-log a call or a note straight from the page and it lands on the timeline stamped with your name, using your real display name so a shared record always shows who did what.

### Deal 360

Deals get the same treatment, tuned for how a deal actually works: as a thing several people are involved in. A deal's page adds Team, Participants, and Activity columns on top of an Emails tab.

* Team lets you reassign the deal owner and pull teammates in as members, straight from your workspace roster.
* Participants lets you search and attach the contacts involved in the deal, with a linked company card so you can see who works where.
* The Emails tab splits into what's linked directly to the deal and the full thread history with the deal's main contact. When a deal has several participants, a picker lets you switch whose email history you're looking at.
* Quick-log and the timeline work just like they do on a contact, and the deal's timeline folds in campaign engagement for the linked contact and participants too.

Companies get a lighter version of the same idea. A Company 360 view surfaces a read-only activity timeline so you can see everything happening across that organization at a glance.

## How to use it

1. Open Contacts from the sidebar and click a contact to open Contact 360.
2. Read the activity timeline to catch up. Sends, opens, clicks, replies, and your logged calls and notes are all there in order.
3. Open the Emails tab, pick a thread, and click Reply. The composer slides up over the page. Or hit Compose to start a fresh email to the contact.
4. Use quick-log to record a call or note. It posts to the timeline under your name.
5. For a deal, open it and use the Team and Participants columns to set the owner, add teammates, and attach the contacts involved.

## Why it matters

The cost of context-switching is quiet but real. Every time you leave a contact to go find the email thread, then leave the thread to log the call, then go back to the contact to check the history, you lose the thread of what you were actually trying to do. Pulling the conversation, the timeline, the people, and the reply box onto one page removes those trips. You read the story and respond to it in the same place.

It also makes shared accounts honest. When every logged activity carries the name of whoever logged it, and every engagement event lands on the timeline on its own, a teammate picking up a deal can see exactly where it stands without asking. That's the difference between a CRM that records what happened and one you have to reconstruct.

This lives inside the [new Companies and Deals CRM](/changelog/crm-companies-and-deals). Once you're working from these pages, [scheduled activities](/changelog/scheduled-activities-and-reminders) keep your follow-ups on time, [file attachments](/changelog/files-on-contacts-and-deals) keep documents next to the record, and [typed custom fields](/changelog/typed-custom-fields) keep your own data clean.
